The Human Resources Department provides professional staff administration in the areas of recruitment, employee orientation, records maintenance, benefits monitoring, job classifications, and information dissemination. In addition, the Human Resources Department is responsible for various employee relations programs, which include training, safety, workers compensation, group health, dental and life insurance, deferred compensation, retirement and unemployment compensation. The Human Resources Department is responsible for administering the City's personnel policies and procedures and insuring compliance with City, State and Federal regulations.
